A9 Waterfall symphony

Is nature a monument, an excuse, an oasis or an amusement park?

  • Thinking about nature and the suppressed position and definition of it in the Dutch landscape, I proposed a sound sculpture underneath one of the busiest highways in the Netherlands that is crossing the park. The sound, caused by the falling water, is regulated by the amount of traffic above it. In this way the highway is becoming part of the park, composing a dynamic symphony together with nature. Read more in Dutch
